Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel
in time for dinner.
Day 2 Liverpool Fab 4 Taxi Tour
This morning, we are transported
back to the Swinging Sixties on an
entertaining 3 hour Beatles taxi tour.
Touring around Liverpool and its
surrounding suburbs in our private
taxi, driven by a local expert guide,
we learn all about Liverpool’s fab four
lads with visits to some of the iconic
places that shaped their lives – and
songs. Tour highlights include their
childhood homes, the place where
John Lennon met a 15-year-old Paul
McCartney for the first time in 1957,
the famous Penny Lane street,
Strawberry Field and Eleanor Rigby’s
grave. This nostalgic tour also
includes stops for photos and
refreshments.
Day 3 Liverpool We spend the day
at leisure to choose what to do and
see. Why not visit one of the free
museums
on the
impressive Albert
Dock such as the Museum
of Liverpool or the Tate &
Merseyside Maritime Museum,
guaranteed to keep us entertained
for hours, with so many facts of
Liverpool’s maritime heritage and
world trade influence.
Day 4 Chester Uncover the rich
history and timeless charm of Chester,
a city where past and present
beautifully collide. Begin your visit
with a stroll along the ancient Roman
city walls, offering spectacular views of
the city and surrounding countryside.
Step back in time at Chester
Cathedral, a masterpiece of medieval
architecture, or explore the fascinating
Roman amphitheatre, a reminder of
Chester’s illustrious past. Wander
through the city’s iconic Rows, unique
medieval two-tiered shopping
galleries, perfect for exploring
boutique stores and cosy tearooms.
With its blend of history, culture,
and scenic beauty, Chester promises
a delightful day of exploration and
discovery.
Day 5 Departure After breakfast,
we say ‘Hello, Goodbye’ to Liverpool
and make our way home.
