Your privacy is of utmost importance to us and we will never sell your information to third parties, or share it with other organisations, unless necessary to perform our contract with you, or to provide you with exclusive offers and news from Cloud Nine Holidays .

Cloud Nine Holidays  acts as the Data Controller in respect of personal data provided and complies with relevant data protection legislation, including the Data Protection Act 1998 and General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). We process data for two purposes;

1. For performance of our contract with you.

2. For Marketing purposes to provide you with exclusive offers and news from Cloud Nine Holidays

Performance of contract

We process your data on the basis that it is necessary for performance of the holiday contract. We will share your data with any third parties necessary in order to provide the holiday or accommodation package purchased. This may include hotels, third party coach companies, taxi companies, ferry companies, excursion venues, travel insurers, as relevant to the range of products or services you have purchased. If you have specific health requirements that fall under our special requests, these will also be shared with third parties as required to perform the contract.

If we do not hold adequate personal data about you or other guests travelling with you on your booking (including relevant health conditions), then we may not be able to perform our holiday contract with you adequately, or in extreme cases at all.

Direct Marketing

Cloud Nine Holidays may process your personal data for marketing purposes.

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interest if you have previously entered into a holiday contract with us, have previously requested that we send you a brochure; or if you have provided us with your personal details at one of our marketing events.

When none of the above circumstances apply, we only process your data if you have given us consent to do so.

We share your data with third party organisations for marketing purposes only when it is required to send our marketing literature to you. Organisations with which we may share your data include, mailing houses, printers and email providers. These organisations will not use or share your information, for any other purpose other than is necessary to send our marketing literature to you.

We will never sell or pass on your data, so that other organisations can use it to send you their marketing literature.

How long we hold your data for

We keep your details on file for 10 years and we do not send marketing literature to you more than 10 years after your last holiday with us or brochure request made.

Data access requests

You have the right to;

• Request access to the data we hold about you. There is no charge for accessing your data and we will provide you with this information within one month of the request

• Have personal data corrected if it is in accurate or incomplete.

• Request deletion or removal of personal data where there is no compelling reason for its continued processing.

• Withdraw consent if we are processing you personal data on the basis of consent.
