Excursion 1

Aldeburgh is renowned thanks to the connection it has with Benjamin Britten, the founder of the Aldeburgh Festival, which takes place in June every year. Pastel-coloured 19th Century holiday villas line the promenade and to the east, the pebble beach with fisherman's huts selling the daily catch.
Southwold is seen by many as the town that time forgot.

Excursion 2

Described as one of the UK's great heritage railways by the Daily Mail, The Poppy Line offers a spectacularly scenic ride from Sheringham along the coast to Weybourne and through the heathland to Holt. Cromer was once a small fishing village however it is still famous for it's crabs, but in the Victorian period it was patronised by royalty and became a distincly upper class holiday resort.

A fleet of passenger trip boats offer a fabulous opportunity to discover the Norfolk Broads. A full commentary from the skipper will ensure you don't miss a thing, explaining the origins of the Broads, identifying points of interest along the way and showing you the abundance of local water birds as they come into view. There is no better way to learn about the Broads whilst taking in the beautiful scenery all around you.
